If you're wondering about the picture on the home page, it's Snowflake Bentley. He lived in Vermont and was the first person to take pictures of snowflakes. Everybody discouraged him because snow was so common. But he kept on doing it. That picture is from an amazing picture book about him. (Yes, a picture book. It's quite good.) Just if you were wondering. :)

Hey everyone! This is Lily, Ice Cream, and Silver. (We miss you, Fluffy!) We just wanted to post about National Book Month! Whooo! (We're such nerds.) We found out because we were looking up National Ice Cream Month (July) and National Chocolate Month (Feburary). Here's the site if you want to look at more...
http://www.quamada.com/months.html. There's actually a water hygiene month. <snicker> (August) Yeah. This post wasn't that much about National Book Month.

Ha! I didn't say New Year's! Hahaha! Sorry. I'm a little hyper. I just felt annoyed that everyone was talking about New Year's, and I'd look like a spoilsport if I didn't. To Silver- I stayed up until midnight too! I even watched the ball drop! I just didn't post! Well. Made your resolutions? I haven't. <sigh> Well, good luck to you all. And if you're superstitious like I am, behave well today or you'll have bad luck for the rest of the year. Although, if that's true, I'll be falling out of bed every day this year. Maybe I'm not superstitious anymore. If you've read this far, thanks for listening to my ramblings. Happy New Year to you all, and thanks for visiting.

Happy New Year! Silver here, and by the looks of it, also the only one who stayed up until midnight! Anyways, I wish you all a happy new year, and the best of luck with anything you attempt. I hope that this will turn out to be the best year of your lives so far!

Au Revoir!
