Practice Computer Coloring

Hi, everyone, it's Lily. I've been experimenting with coloring on the computer, and this is what I got. I've been having trouble with the BPelt filter, so this was produced by a very slow method of selecting and filling. Don't ask about the line on the top of her head- I'll tell you. I messed up while outlining her with pen, okay?! So, I guess that's all to say about her. Do you think I should color stuff on the computer more often, or not at all? Tell me!

I think you should keep practicing until you know for sure what you want to do. You will get better.

I mess up inking my dolls like you did all the time. I just either cut that part away, use some white out to cover it up (if I have it) or photoshop it away. Usually the first or the second though. I get nervous about accidentally whiting out parts of my doll.

She kind-of reminds me of Ariel from The Little Mermaid.

I should practice. I like coloring on the computer. But I also want to keep using my colored pencils. Thanks for the advice- I'll cut it out because I tend to get a little white out happy. :( Now that I think of it, she does kind of look like Ariel.

You know, Lily, I would have Blue Jasmine be a paper doll blog, because I am an and artist and LOVE to draw (I'm going to get my own art studio in my house soon) but I've got no idea how to get the dolls and clothes and stuff on the computer??? Any suggestions??
