Hi guys, it's Silver. First of all, I would like to apologize to Fluffy for tricking her into thinking that she was no longer a Moonstone, although it might as well be the BEST April Fools Day prank Lily and I have ever pulled. We never really intended to kick her off the site or search for a replacement; we just wanted to find out how much the site actually meant to her. Fluffy, I'm so sorry! I never intended to make you cry! (Confused? Well, you probably didn't read the earlier posts. Here are the links: Grave News, Goodbye Moonstones, and April Fool!). The bottom line is: Fluffy is still a Moonstone. Once a Moonstone, always a Moonstone, as I like to say. Onto the second reason for this blog post: I have finally posted a paper doll! I'm so proud! My drawing style has changed DRASTICALLY since the first attempt, and I really like the way she turned out. I've named her 'Grace' and you can find her by clicking on her name, this link, or you can just go to the Paper Dolls page. I hope you like it; it took a lot of time to finish. Another thing I wanted to let you guys know is that we now have a page of quotes, called Silently Quotable, on which you can find quotes from all the Moonstones, and it is listed under the Randomness page on the menu. CHECK IT OUT!I have, as promised, been working on a series of short story one-shots (500 words each), and you can look forward to those sometime today or tomorrow; I'll be pretty busy with my 2 biology projects, but I promise to get something up on the Short Stories page. I already put up a short story called "The Aces" a while ago, so check that out too. You'll also find some great one-shots by Lily and Ice Cream, and some poems by Lily there too.
See You Soon!

Happy late extra April Fool's Day! What? You're not amused? Well, I can explain...

It all started with my first April Fool's joke, Twilight. I thought it was weak sauce. So I posted Grave News. And made Fluffy post Goodbye Moonstones. (All of which you should read if you haven't already and don't want to be really confused.)

It was all a joke. But it served a double purpose... as a way to find out if Fluffy cared about the website and her Moonstone-ship. She does, if you're interested. Anyway, Silv and I broke it to her last night. And then fixed it. She cried.

And to make it up to her, I'm letting her create a new page. But expect a lot of rants.

  -Lily

I was glad to be part of the team! Its sad i have to leave :( Im really sorry for not being a good moonstone to all of the moonstones. I hope everyone would be good friends with me even though im not part of this website anymore. I was hoping to participate more over the break because of all the things that I had to do when we were actually in school. I hope everyone understands. And I also look forward to seeing who the next moonstone will be! I hope that they are better then me! I will definitely continue being a moonstone fan!
XOXO

Hi guys, it's Silver. I'm sure that you guys (and Lily) are happy that I'm trying to post more often. On behalf of my fellow Moonstones, Lily and Ice Cream (Fluffy is no longer one of us), I would like to apologize for the lack of posts; High School isn't easy, and the teachers seem to be under the impression that we have no social lives whatsoever. We promise that we'll try to post more: at least once a week. In case you were wondering, the title of this post means 'Sadness and More News' in spanish. I just wanted to confirm Lily's announcement that Fluffy is no longer a Moonstone (in case any of you were in doubt), and that we are searching for her replacement. If you are interested, please apply; the application can be found in Lily's blog post titled 'Grave News'. In other news, I am currently designing a logo for the Silent Moonstone website, although it may take some time to be put up on the site. I promise I'll do my best to get it done, though. Just a random question: what's a good name for a pink pet unicorn? I got it as a gift on Valentine's day from one of my friends; she's currently on vacation in Japan (I'm so jealous). Ice Cream, Lily and I plan to meet up soon to watch 'The Hunger Games', so we might get a chance to film a segment of Silent Chatterbox, and you can definitely look forward to more posts on the short stories page. I personally want to start a page with a bunch of quotes on it, but I'm not sure. What do you think? Would you guys like to see a quotes page on the site? It would have quotes from us and from other people (i.e. Albert Einstein, whom I love to quote). I also wanted to tell you guys to participate in the contest we currently have up on the 'For You' page of the site because we plan on changing it sometime this week. It's your last chance to win! I'm also working on a series of one-shots and some dribbles to improve my writing skills, as per the advice of my lit. teacher, whom I absolutely ADORE. Many writers on fan fiction write drabble-fics, and they say that you should write down at least one 500-word story a day.I will try my best to follow their advice, and I'll try to put them up as often as I am able. I've also been challenging myself to write one-shot stories based off of 3 random words, and I feel that I've been doing pretty well with that particular endeavor. I'm also really open to suggestions for stories, so feel free to suggest things in the comments, no matter how crazy they may be; I'm always up for a challenge. Likewise, you can also request poetry, like Kate did: she wanted a poem about a dinosaur that fell in love with a strawberry (you can find it on the short stories page here). Sorry about the super-long post; I just had a lot to say.... er, type. I happen to know that Lily wants to try some hunger games themed nail art when we meet up, so I'll try to get some pictures up. You can always look at the youtube channel of cutepolish if you want any more nail art ideas; they're all really cool: my favorite is the Harry Potter themed nails, which Lily tried on Ice Cream some time ago. Did you guys see Lily's post called 'Choses'? She mentioned a place called Teavana, and it sounds really cool to me; I plan on going there with my mom soon, and I am really excited to try their teas: they sound delicious from what I saw on their website. Lily also showed me the website for chalkboard paint, which she's been wanting for some time, and I think the colors are amazing! Lily likes the mystic purple (which is really pretty), while I would prefer either bakery green or aqua sky for my room (it's currently a light pink color and looks like a little girl's room). If I chose chalkboard paints, I would want my room to have more of a green and blue color scheme, but given the choice, I would make it a Ravenclaw bedroom and get bronze-ish wood furniture and curtains to match. If I was allowed to make it Ravenclaw-themed, I would paint it this shade of blue, even if it is really dark; I have a friend who painted her bedroom BLACK, for crying out loud! Isn't it pretty? (Click on the links for pictures).I think I've typed enough for today, at least on the blog; I still have to post my short story: loom forward to that sometime this afternoon.
Hasta La Vista!

P.S. - I LOVE THIS FONT!
LOOK!
Just a random image I found on the internet:

No, none of us died. But you won't be hearing from one of us ever again.
So, it deeply pains us to say this, but after careful consideration and observation, we have decided to remove Fluffy from the website.
I know, it's harsh. But what can we do? She hasn't posted in at least a month, and when confronted, makes ridiculous excuses that she simply has no time.  (Although her Facebook page and text history say different.) And if you'll go back a few posts, you'll see her not-once fulfilled promises. She has no commitment at all. It's just un-Moonstonian. I mean, she calls herself a moonstone, but never makes a single appearance- not even a measly tweet. It's like joining Jr. Beta and putting the sticker on your car but never volunteering. She can't reap the benefits without work.
So our once merry foursome will become a trio. We've got a spot open, if anyone wants to apply.

    Moonstone Application Form

Yeah, that's it. I'm kind of sad to post this, because Fluffy's a really good friend- just not a good business partner.
    -Lily out.

First of all, let me just say that I ADORE the decoration of the site; so many pretty things to stare at! Good job, Icey! (The decorations for March, which were done by Lily, were AMAZING, and I thought that all the pictures she used were really cute!) Anyways, I'm really sorry that y'all haven't heard from me in a while now (I have no excuse), so to make up for it, I have just posted a new short story! Check it out; you know where to find it (if not, it's on the Short Stories page of the site). I have also written another story, which I will most likely post tomorrow because I sent it to Lily and Ice Cream for them to proofread and make sure everything is all right.I also briefly considered playing an April Fools prank on you guys, but Lily's pranks are always the best ones (last year, she said that we were giving up on the paper dolls page), and she outdoes herself each year; can't wait to see what comes next! I've also been working on some poetry, which is more of Lily's forte, and I will put it up as soon as possible. Moving on, did you guys watch the Kids' Choice Awards last night? I did, and I was so disappointed because Harry Potter didn't win any awards! Can you believe it?! Diary of a Wimpy Kid was voted the best book series; as if it could ever be better than Harry Potter. What upset me even further was the fact that Kristen Stewart (of all people!) won the Best Movie Actress award over Emma Watson, who deserved it so much more! Worst of all, Puss in Boots was voted best movie over Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Kids these days. I have never been more disappointed. My brother was screaming at the television, and I can't say that I was any better. Well, at least Harry Potter still has its own theme park, which, in my opinion, trumps Disney as the most magical place on earth. Just a random question: have any of you guys read 'Alice in Wonderland'? We did in my lit. class, and it was hands-down the single most confusing book I have ever read. It is a brilliant book, though, and I have the utmost respect for Lewis Carroll. I think that my favorite part of reading Alice in Wonderland in my lit. class was the test that we took. Seriously. Don't look at this post as if I'm crazy! Our test was actually really simple: we had to choose 2 symbols that represent Alice in the novel, and choose 2 colors per symbol. We also had to write 8 sentences about why we chose said symbols and colors. It might as well be the easiest test I ever took in the 9th grade (so far). I think that we've come across some truly brilliant pieces of literature in our class this year, and I have really enjoyed most of the books we have read. A book I highly recommend (that we read in class) is Lord of the Flies, by William Golding; although some dislike it, I think it is extremely well-written and explores many interesting themes about basic human nature. To Kill a Mockingbird is another great book to read because it explores themes of prejudice in the southern town of Maycomb, Alabama, and the story also makes a full circle (meaning that the beginning truly connects with the ending). I know that a lot of people dislike the book, but that's probably because we beat it to death trying to find every little instance of symbolism, foreshadowing etc... Edgar Allen Poe, although rather morbid, was also an amazing author, and his works are brilliant. In terms of more modern novels, I've always thought that The Help was a great book, and the Mysterious Benedict Society is something I would definitely recommend. If you want anymore suggestions, you can ask us in the comments or send us an email; we'd love to hear from you. I have to go to bed; it's getting pretty late...
See You Soon!

So, today I discovered I was moving to Ohio! My dad got a job transfer there, because his company is opening a new branch and they moved some people from other states there. Anyways, my dad wants me to go to this school there, which is really strict. The uniforms are UGLY! They're these ankle length khaki skirts and these pink frilly blouses.  There are only like 300 kids there and its just 10-12 grade! I'm leaving after this summer which means I'll have to say goodbye to my friends after this school year, because we're on vacation this  summer! So, this is goodbye my friends.

Happy April Fools day! Ok, lame joke but I had to do something. Besides, you already saw Lily's joke which was pretty funny. I obviously didn't fall for it because there was no way that could happen unless she hit her head REALLY hard. So, I haven't been on lately, but since its spring break, we have lots of posting time! Maximum Wootage!
(I don't say that but one of my weird friends does.)
~Ice Cream out~

Hello, everyone! It's Lily. I have a big announcement to make.
So, I have had a huge change of heart, and now, based on extensive evidence, have realized that the Twilight series is indeed much better than Harry Potter. It's more realistic, better written, and it has awesome characters.
It's a whole lot easier to imagine yourself in Forks than Hogwarts. I mean, Forks is a real place, not some made up fairytale princess castle. The characters are easier to relate to and more realistic. I mean, not all of us have some crazy psycho who needs to tan chasing us. But everyone has school and friend problems, like Bella! And Harry is a Gary Stue. He's way too perfect. No one is that unselfish and popular.
Twilight is way simpler and easier to read. Stephenie Meyer doesn't write super complicated sentences that you have to read twenty times to understand. And she doesn't use crazy names like Xenophilius or Argus. I mean, seriously? They'd probably get beaten up and die.
And Twilight's characters are flawless and wonderful. Carlisle and Esme are compassionate, Alice is sweet, Bella and Edward are brave, etc.
I'm so over Harry Potter. GO STEPH MEYER!!!

BTW, the font is white like the Twilight logo. I wish I could download the Twilight font onto Weebly, but I can't. Boo.

Hi everyone, it's Lily here. Before I go on with the rest of this post, I'd like to ask you something. How many of  you read a book before you watch the movie? Books are a dying art now.
All right (by the way, misguided people, "alright" is not a word), I'm sure you're wondering why the post is titled "Choses." Heh. Well, it means "things" in French. And things I have to tell you.
First, a shoutout to our friend Kate, who finally finished her story, "Overwhelmed."  A bit abrupt, and ridiculously sad for such a cute story, I'd say, but still very good, as always.
Next, an awesome store I found in the mall. It's called Teavana, and it's the best freaking thing since Nutella. No, the second best thing. Nothing measures up to Nutella. Anyway, Teavana is a combination of tea bar and tea emporium. It goes far beyond the basic chai and green tea most Americans know. I've got a...catalog, for lack of a better word here with me, and I'll type out a couple.
Youthberry- Youthful and fresh, this crisp blushing tea is made from candied pineapple and mango pieces with Fuji and Golden Delicious apples added for spirit. 'Superfruits' red currant and acai berry create a youthful glow in this medley of smart, bright, refreshingly soft white tea. 12.00
We didn't actually buy any tea, because my dad wanted to ask my mum first, but we plan on doing so very soon. Youthberry was one of a few samples they had out, and it was absolutely delicious. It was more like punch than tea- so even if you absolutely detest tea, you'll like this. And now this, which sounds like nectar (as in the drink of the gods, not flowers):
Slimful Chocolate Decadence: Drawing inspiration from a decadent warm Hawaiian chocolate cake, this oolong blend is a luxurious mix of robust cacao, creamy toasted coconut, and ginger spice that satisfies even the strongest sweet tooth. Pink rose petals add romantic icing to this guilt-free treat. 10.00
And this awesomeness:
Monkey Picked Oolong: As legend has it, Buddhist Monks trained monkeys to gather the youngest leaves from the tip-top of wild tea trees for this special Imperial Reserve blend. The legend lives on, now with the deft hand-plucking of the unbroken, evenly sized leaves that unfurl to create a light, orchid aroma, and the highest grade of oolong in the world. 25.00
Now, I don't know about you, but I'd like me some monkey picked oolong.

Now, something my dad showed me today- Shark Tank. It's an ABC program, and there are basically five filthy rich people who are the sharks. Entrepreneurs can apply to go on the show and sell part of their company to the sharks. Sometimes, they throw in stuff like mentoring, a celebrity endorsement, etc. It's really interesting to watch- almost like gambling sometimes. Now, they're called sharks for a reason. One lady had this horrible idea- a thingie you attach to your laptop for your sticky notes- and they just ate her alive. I felt kinda bad, but her idea was stupid. The nicest one, in my opinion, is Barbara. And you can learn about some awesome stuff- like the episode I'm watching now, Onesoles. I also like the Snap-Caps, check that out too.
And something else for you bored people out there- Animal Planet's Pets 101, Dogs 101, and Cats 101. My favorite Pets 101s are the pgymy goat, capybara, and ferret (Dacey's Patronus, if you've been following my fanfiction). As for Dogs 101 and Cats 101, I love the American Eskimo (I need one of those beauties) and the Bengal Cat. And the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Such a cute doggy.
Eh. That's really it. For all you girls, if you haven't seen it already, check out CuteGirlsHairstyles, on Youtube. It's an amazing channel, and they have three Hunger Games hairstyles already!
Seen the movie yet? We plan to soon. I'll probably wear Katniss's diagonal Dutch braid, and maybe try her Reaping Day braids on Silvy.
Lily out! <3 you! Especially if you comment...

Hi guys, Silver here. (Ssshhh! I'm supposed to be doing homework!) I just wanted to let you know some good news and bad news. The good news is that I finally finished Kate's contest prize poem! It is about a dinosaur and a strawberry man that fall in love (she requested it on a chat with Lily and myself). I will be putting it up on the short stories page Right Now! The bad news is that although I have the middle part of the first chapter of my story done, I have run out of ideas for the beginning and the ending, so it'll take some time until I put it up. Sad, right? Once again, check out Kate's contest prize poem, which can be found on the short stories page!
Hasta Luego! (See you later!)
